Barrage from The Transformers (2017 TV Series).
Bio[]
Barrage believes winning is not enough, all must be leveled to the ground, and then the rubble should be burned and the ashes scattered to the wind. Merciless and cruel, he feels kindness of any sort is allowing the enemy hope, and that is unacceptable. He will shoot the retreating and the wounded, and even those taken prisoner. Barrage takes no prisoners. Then he'll keep firing until the battlefield is a smoldering crater. When he's deployed to a battlefield, even the other Decepticons take a few steps back. He's disliked even among their ranks. Maybe it's those beady, creepy little red eyes.
History[]
Arc 3[]
Barrage was a member of the original Mayhem Attack Squad and took part in their joint mission with the Wreckers to destroy Galvatron in the Time Wars. Four of the Mayhems, including Barrage, ended up all taking insect alt. modes and being dubbed as a new group of Insecticons. Despite the Mayhems' reputation, however, they were no match for their opponents, and Venom was slain by Galvatron shortly after the battle began. He was one of the first warriors to fall during the battle, his chest torn open by Galvatron before being smashed against a wall. |Time Wars|
Trivia[]
- Frank Welker voiced Barrage.
Changes[]
- Barrage & Ransack didn't appear in the Transformers comic at all, even after Time Wars.
- Barrage got Battletrap's supposed death from the comic, but unlike comic Battletrap, Barrage was truly killed in battle.
