Bio[]

Boomer, a Double Targetmaster is partnered with Ricochet and the Autobot Quickmix.

His friends tell him "Ignorance is bliss." He doesn't get it, and even if he did Boomer isn't one to take offense, because that's just the kinda guy he is. As the head of the Consumer Complaint Agency on Nebulos he dealt with thousands of angry citizens all day. Boomer's trademark brand of loud, infectious good-hearted enthusiasm was his only marketable skill. Boomer thought that in comparison fighting Decepticons should be easy, so he joined the Autobots.

Boomer was bio-engineered to turn into a sonic pulse cannon, which generates sound-waves of different intensities and frequencies that can be used for either the gentlest effect or to shatter steel. As a Double Targetmaster, Boomer is able to combine with Ricochet to increase the power of his own weapon, or boost the power of Ricochet's submachine gun.

Boomer frequently has to soothe the impatient Quickmix or cheer up his depressive partner Ricochet. Fortunately, he doesn't mind.

History[]

Arc 3[]

Boomer was among a group of Nebulans who, at great risk to themselves, joined the outlawed Autobots during Zarak and Scorponok's reign of terror on Nebulos. After undergoing the bio-engineering process that allowed them to transform into replacement weapons, they partnered with the nine Autobots who had surrendered their weapons some months earlier. Boomer and Ricochet partnered with Quickmix. But their first mission turned out rather disastrously; despite the fact the Targetmaster upgrade had given their forces the firepower necessary to overwhelm the Decepticons, the conflicts between Autobots and Decepticons were simply too destructive. When Boomer and his allies tried to defend The Nursery from a Decepticon incursion, the whole place was left in ruins.

Afterwards, the Autobots came to realize that the only way to spare Nebulos from further destruction was to quit the planet altogether. Following a distress signal, they left for planet Earth, with the Decepticons in close pursuit. |Brothers in Armor|

After the upgrade work on Fortress Maximus was completed as the Steelhaven traveled to Earth; the crew questioned Galen's intentions and almost power-hungry preparations for war. Their leader dismissed their concerns, noting that he was simply adjusting to their changing circumstances. The argument would soon become a moot point, as a battle soon broke out against the Decepticons, which wound up costing Galen his life. |Trial by Fire|

Boomer, Quickmix, Ricochet, and the other Targetmasters accompanied Fortress Maximus in an assault on the Decepticons' island base. |The Desert Island of Space|
