- Dinotron is a Predacon/Decepticon from the (fanon) Aligned continuity family. He is previously known as Gearlock.
Dinotron is originally a Predacon clone Gearlock, a Predacon cloned by Shockwave, under Scourge's order.
Toys[]
A redeco of Cruellock, Gearlock transforms into a dinosaur-monster somewhat reminiscent of the American movie version of Godzilla. He came with a small hand-pistol and a large sword, both of which store in his tail in dino mode.
The deco of this toy is repurposed as Walmart Exclusive AOE Grimlock.
- Gearlock (Cyberverse Legion)
A redeco of the Legion Class Rippersnapper, Gearlock transforms into a bipedal lizard creature.
Though not called out in the instructions, Gearlock combines with Cyberverse Twinstrike, Hun-Gurrr, Windrazor, and Blight to form Abominus, with Gearlock forming the right leg. His back kibble in this mode can be positioned lower so it sits slightly above the beast mode arms to make a more convincing foot.

Instead of a redeco of Robots in Disguise Warrior Class Grimlock, Warrior Dinotron had taken cues from the Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock, transforming into a Mechanical T-rex.
