Repugnus is a Maximal/Autobot Monsterbot from the Requiem continuity family.
Repugnus is the most disgusting out of the Monsterbots. He's the one who volunteers to do the dirty work that others are too scared or grossed out to do. Thanks to this, he smells as if he took a bath in out of date dog food and forgot to wash himself. He doesn't even mind his aroma, and believes it's good for distracting his opponents. Repugnus and the other Monsterbots look different to other Maximals, since they're more mechanical looking instead of organic. This is because the Monsterbots were created after the Maximals allied with the Autobots, and were created to look like Autobots by Wheeljack and Lio Convoy. The Monsterbots are technically Transmetals, since they have mechanical beast modes. Thanks to the allegiance between the Autobots and Maximals, this makes the Monsterbots both Maximals and Autobots.
