The Seekers are the air forces of the Decepticons. Originally founded before the Great War under the orders of Nominus Prime as part of the Cybertronian Planetary Defense Force, a large majority of them under the command of then lieutenant Starscream secretly joined the then nascent Decepticon movement. From there they acted as the Decepticon's spies in the Cybertronian government and when the Great War erupted, they revealed their true loyalties by killing off their commander Phaser and any others that remained loyal to the Cybertronian senate. From there they became the signature forces of the Decepticons sowing terror across the planet and Cybertronian space. After the end of the Great War, the overthrowing of Megatron as leader of the Decepticons at the hand of Shockwave and the disappearance of their commander Starscream, the Seekers became scattered as many of their number joined the numerous splinter factions that arose from the fall of the Decepticons while others remained loyal to Shockwave's new government all the while others simply quit and became neutral.
Variations[]
While the concept of the Seekers is that they all have the same jet mode as their commander, numerous variations started to appear amongst their number as their longest-serving commander, Starscream kept changing jet modes, much to the chagrin of his troops, leaving the seekers as a hodgepodge mess of different sizes and alt-modes but still maintaining the same basic appearance. Scouts - Bots who turn into Blaster City Weapons Industries P23B cyberjets.
Bruisers - Bots who turn into Helex Atomics J897P starfighters. Also known as triangle seekers due to their triangular body shape.
Standards - Generic standard issue bots who turn into a modified tetrajet design based on the pre-war government starfighters produced by Iacon Automata.
