Gwendolyn "Gwen" Wu, sometimes referred to as Gwendoline Wu, is a major supporting villainess in the 2006 anime film Transformers: Trouble in Bonita Springs. She is a scientist who worked for Samantha Weatherly's envious sister-in-law Katrina Weatherly (nee Walls) and Sector 105. She was voiced by Jessica DiCicco in the American English dub, who also voiced the Flame Princess in Adventure Time, and Asuka Tanii in the Japanese dub.

Description[]

Following Wasp Stinger's crash-land to earth in 1979, Gwen was told of Wasp Stinger's presence by Weatherly before they meet up with two Decepticon spies named Black Knight (Jennifer Hale) and Star Sapphire (Vicki Lewis), who posed themselves as peacekeepers and told them that Wasp Stinger is a war criminal.

Deciding to take action, Gwen lets Black Knight and Star Sapphire enter into Sector 105's base so that they can use their intel and gain access to her satellites to pinpoint Wasp Stinger's location; he even convinced their superiors to utilize the new Cybertronian technology that Black Knight and Star Sapphire have for their own ambitions, despite Weatherly's objections.

After Wasp Stinger is captured and placed inside a warehouse for interrogation, Gwen watches as Black Knight and Star Sapphire torture Wasp Stinger for information. It wasn't until they learned that Wasp Stinger received a message from Autobot commander Supreme Thunder that they're planning to make earth their new refuge and protect it from Decepticons, otherwise they (along with the rest of the lifeforms on earth) would be destroyed.

Upon witnessing the message and overhearing Black Knight and Star Sapphire plotting to gather all Decepticon troops to earth, Gwen realized in horror that she and Sector 105 made a horrible mistake and that Wasp Stinger is not the hostile invader as Katrina Weatherly (nee Walls) thought him to be. To that end, Gwen flips her walkie-talkie on and frantically warns Katrina Weatherly (nee Walls) about the Decepticons' plot, telling him that they must stop the Decepticons at once. However, Black Knight spots Gwen Wu warning Katrina Weatherly (nee Walls), so she has Star Sapphire to kill Gwen Wu with a single blast, the deed in which the purple Decepticon executed with eagerness. Eventually, Gwen Wu's death was avenged when Wasp Stinger managed to kill both Black Knight and Star Sapphire after foiling their plan to contact the other Decepticons.
