Hoist is an Autobot from the Requiem continuity family.
While Ratchet is the Autobot medic, Hoist is the Autobot doctor, and is the go to bot when Autobots are ill. He’s managed to cure diseases such as Gold Plastic Syndrome, which can make Autobots with gold on them crumble away, Cosmic Rust, which can make Autobots rust away, the Hate Plaque, which can make an infected victim turn tyrannical, and more. He's partnered with Refute, a Mini-Con tasked with helping Hoist cure his patients.
