The Protectobots are an Autobot subgroup from the Requiem continuity family.
Founded by the Autobots Hot Spot and Ratchet, the Protectobots are a team of Autobot emergency services, dedicated to helping all life, no matter how dangerous the situation is. Their main rivals are the Combaticons.
The Protectobots consist of:
Hot Spot - The serious, no nonsense leader
Ratchet - The main Protectobot medic
Rook - Hot Spot's Mini-Con
Blades - The erratic gunner
First Aid - The secondary medic
Streetwise - The strict police officer
Groove - The smooth going, calm member
Defensor - The combined form of all the above, minus Ratchet
